Erick and I spent a long weekend camping and exploring along the Kangamangus in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It was uneventful and relaxing… just the distraction I was looking for.
If you have followed this blog for a while, you will know that Kevin and I get together one day a year in the summer, and try to fit a years worth of activities into that day. This year we were down in his neck of the woods of Westport, again.
Life circumstances have found me partially living in “Brennolly Lodge”, a treehouse I built over the past couple of years (and might someday complete). I’d be lying if I claimed to not be enjoying my time in a tree.
Sunapee may not be the most technical downhill park. But, for the price and proximity… it is a lot of fun. All the runs are do’able by anyone with some sense of mountain biking skills, except the boulder drop on “Rock this Way”. But, there is a B-line around that one.
With the onslaught of the latest pokemon go craze, I was reminded of the days I would take my girls geocaching (“treasure hunting” as far as they were concerned) to get them out in the woods when they were younger.
